The Importance of Prayer
Today I quote Dom Helder Camara.
I understood that in view of my decision to give myself unreservedly to God and my neighbor, it would be absolutely necessary for me to devote space and time to prayer.
So how is my Lenten practice going?
OPreach 
“And the Spirit/Wind from God blew over the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:2. That photograph looks like a place where I could pray. Still what keeps me from prayer right here in my office?
“If I take the wings of the morning and settle at the farthest limit of the sea, even there your hand will lead me.” Psalm 139:8-9
The bench is on the bay in San Francisco – Chrissy Field – a great place for a morning walk.
Sometimes what keeps me from praying is allowing myself to be distracted by trivialities from what is more important. Could be my room or office.
