Where Can We Find Peace?

Monday’s Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 131:1,2,3) leads us to peace.

In you, O God, I have found my peace.

O God, my heart is not proud,
nor are my eyes haughty;
I do not busy myself with great things,
nor with things too sublime for me.

In you, O God, I have found my peace.

Rather, I have stilled and quieted
my soul like a weaned child.
Like a weaned child on its mother’s lap,
so is my soul within me.

In you, O God, I have found my peace.

O Israel, hope in God
both now and forever.

In you, O God, I have found my peace.
