May We Bring Justice to the Earth this Advent

Today’s Advent quote is from the Gospel Acclamation, which is taken from Isaiah 45:8.

Alleluia, Alleluia.

Let the clouds rain down the Just One,
and the earth bring forth a Savior.

Alleluia, Alleluia.

It's so easy to believe that something or someone glorious would come forth from such marvelous clouds!

……..and it was easy to believe that someone would promise His blessings from the rainbow that we saw yesterday – over your hometown!!! No church or place of worship can match what God creates in nature.

Amen!!! And, I’m so sorry to have missed it! I must have been indoors . . . at work. 😉

Your photo also reminded me of the Advent Text when we shall see “the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven.” Daniel 7:13

Perhaps we should all rename ourselves “cloud”? And be opened to the Spirit that would move us to do justice, compassion and peace.

Well, considering we are stardust, perhaps we are both cloud and earth. Wonderful possibilities! 😉
