More on Being a Blessing

The more alert we become to the blessing that flows into us through everything we touch, the more our own touch will bring blessing.

I recall that when I saw this magnificent bird, I was surprised that so many walked or ran by without stopping or seeming to notice. How many things do I miss when I am preoccupied?

  1. I find I do this with scripture too – I skip through without seeing the message within. Often I read something I have read so many times in the past and see for the first time what I had, many times, past over and not seen.

  2. Plus being God’s children, we do not experience these emotions alone, but share them in community. That is why Paul encourages us to rejoice with others and weep with others. No one need walk life’s journey alone, but rather join in God’s cosmic dance with other, anticipating the great dance of heaven itself.
