Some people have a wonderful capacity to appreciate again and again, freshly and naively, the basic goods of life, with awe, pleasure, wonder, and even ecstasy.

Grocery shopping with fresh eyes – a fun thing to do at Pike’s Market in Seattle
Hi Rita. Seattle is beautiful!! It is broccoli romanesco or cauliflower romanesco depending on your point of view I guess. I haven’t tasted it, because they don’t have it in the markets I frequent in the Bay Area. There is a store in Berkeley that I’ll bet has it, or at the farmers’ markets. Given its name, I’ll bet it tastes like a mild broccoli. Take good care! Pat
Yes it is! I’m glad you’ve visited my fair city. What in the world is this ….vegetable?

That’s me! The joy of every color, smell and detail that I discover during my day is the music that runs through my life!
Nice, Solveig. Thank you for sharing!
