Develop the Capacity to Appreciate

Some people have a wonderful capacity to appreciate again and again, freshly and naively, the basic goods of life, with awe, pleasure, wonder, and even ecstasy.

    • Hi Rita. Seattle is beautiful!! It is broccoli romanesco or cauliflower romanesco depending on your point of view I guess. I haven’t tasted it, because they don’t have it in the markets I frequent in the Bay Area. There is a store in Berkeley that I’ll bet has it, or at the farmers’ markets. Given its name, I’ll bet it tastes like a mild broccoli. Take good care! Pat

  1. That’s me! The joy of every color, smell and detail that I discover during my day is the music that runs through my life!
