What delicate beauty! When I was at Sky Farm, I was sitting on my deck overlooking the peaceful, quiet meadow, ravine and mountains, and I suddenly heard this whirring sound to the left of my head, and I looked up to see a humming bird, perhaps 8 or 10 inches away… I guess he/she came to see what that large object relaxing in the chair was… he/she wasn’t intimidated in the least. It was so cool!
Hi Sue. Thanks for your comment. Hummingbirds are simply amazing, aren’t they! I once had the pleasure – in Mexico – to have one hover right in front of my face. I think I was the one who felt intimidated!! Have a good weekend, Pat
