Dominican Preaching through Word and Image
Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence. Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance. Autumn passes and one remembers one’s reverence. Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.– Yoko Ono
Winter is a challenging season, best endured with the thought
that spring cannot be far behind. Summer’s long days bring
joy, and autumn is a time to reflex on the fact that nothing stays
the same. One’s age matters little, because one’s age is most
often not determined by years but rather by one’s outlook on
life.
