Sitting in Silence

Prayer is sitting in the silence until it silences us, choosing gratitude until we are grateful, praising God until we ourselves are a constant act of praise.

  1. Silence dampens the power of the ego and frees us to
listen to the God who comes near. It’s only then that
we’re free to reflect on the priceless gifts that come
    to us from God’s love.
