Spirit is with Us
Today is the Third Sunday of Lent
I love the story of the woman at the well in the Gospel of John – there is so much to reflect on – so many nuggets of wisdom. These words of Jesus offer such promise, “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship God in Spirit and truth; and indeed God seeks people to worship in this way. God is Spirit, and those who worship must worship in Spirit and truth.”
Even during Lent – even in our darker days – the Spirit is with us.

The words of Jesus to the Samaritan woman are perhaps
among the most comforting in the Gospels. They speak of
God’s universal love for all of mankind – a love that is
withheld from no one.
