Wednesday of Hope – Defeat is Temporary

My friend, Patty Riley, OP, is walking on the Bonneville Flats in Utah – with ease. When the settlers crossed over through Utah into Nevada, and then on to California on the Emigrant or California Trail, they surely didn’t walk with such ease. Consider the Donner Party. Nonetheless, these emigrants did not give up on their dreams.
Do we have the same stamina? Or do we too readily give up?
