The Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux
October 1st is the feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the Little Flower. She is a favorite saint of many; many of my sisters are fond of her. I have just finished reading The Story of the Soul, finishing funnily enough just as her feast day approached. I would not have known it was without this post. Very intense reading and, for me anyway, needs a second or third read! Coincidentally I am presently reading one of St Francis’ biographies (Jorgenson) and I see his feast day is just 2 days away!!
