Liberty, Freedom and Justice for All

On this Independence Day, how should we judge ourselves?

A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but it’s lowest ones.
― Nelson Mandela, Long Walk to Freedom

When I came across these words by Nelson Mandela, I recalled similar words that I had seen at the FDR Memorial in Washington, DC.

So how are we doing at providing liberty and justice for all? Or does it mostly go to those who can pay for it?

very good…! While Jesus was on earth…he did nothing for the top of society….he was here to help those who were at the bottom of society…. This world is in dire need of God’s mercy again!
