As we face the grand ecological crisis of our time, our most important renewable resource is hope. We simply must put it on with our shoes each morning.
The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize at the center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that its center is really everywhere, it is within each of us.
Everyone keeps asking – since I’ve moved from San Francisco to the Chicago area – how it’s going for me. How am I adjusting to winter in the midwest. Actually, I think that the snow is beautiful, and, really, it’s people that I miss. And I stumbled upon this quote the other day:

But I do notice that people don’t sit on the snow cushions on these benches
